S3E15 | Steve on Side B in Kenya, Part 1 (w/ Henry and Grant)

This is the first of a few episodes we are going to do sporadically throughout the season focusing on what it is like to hold to a Side B Christian view around the globe outside North America. This week we have a two part conversation where Henry and Grant are talking with Mwendia Steve who lives in Kenya. In this episode, Johanna Finegan is back and talking with Ashley and Sarah about female inclusion in Side B spaces. They discuss history of female inclusion in Side B spaces over the years, the difficulties and the things that make them hopeful for the future. This is only our second episode with all female voices with our first being S2E4, and that is a reality which needs to become more common in the future.

In this week's episode, we are covering a topic chosen by our Brilliant Bee Patrons: sexual abuse and harassment. Bekah and Josh are joined by Christian Johnston, who is sharing his own experience of sexual abuse, as well as Branden Polk once again. Josh also shares his experience of sexual abuse. The four of them discuss the reality of sexual violation and harassment in the queer community and more specifically the Side B community and what are some steps we must take to deal with it.
